All Over Dye Sublimation

If you like all over printing and you love dye sublimation, I’ve got some great news for you!  You can get all over dye sublimation and have the best of both worlds!  As a matter of fact, dye sublimation printing is a match made in heaven for all over prints! Why?  The dye sublimation process differs from many other garment decoration methods because it essentially infused the garment with dye permanently.  Instead of sitting on the surface like screen printing, dye sublimated prints are ultra-lightweight and you won’t even be able to feel the print on the fabric.

How does it work?  Dye sublimation starts out at the digital level where we take high resolution artwork and print it onto a transfer sheet from a special dye sublimation printer.  The dye contained in the printer is formulated to sublimate, convert from solid to a gas, when under high heat and pressure.  The transfer sheet with the artwork is positioned onto the garment for printing and together they are heat pressed for a brief time in a sublimation press.  After the dyes bond to the garment, your print is permanently set in place; it’s just that easy!
