Custom Discharge Printing

Have you heard of custom discharge printing?  If you have a cotton garment that you’d like to print that feels ultra soft to the touch, then custom discharge printing can deliver!  Although the name probably sounds off putting, custom discharge printing gets its name forum the special discharge agent that’s mixed into the ink.  Discharge inks are just water based printing inks that have an added discharge agent which is responsible for removing existing color out of a garment.  This process allows you to take out a color and print a desired one in its place, all in one pass!

If you care about soft hand to your prints then you will absolutely love discharge printing.  Plastisol inks dry stiff and that won’t please everyone, especially if you’re printing on a lightweight fabric.  Water based and discharge ink printing services will provide you with much softer prints than plastisol inks could ever handle! Custom discharge printing is great for all over prints too because with all that coverage you’ll have a lightweight print that can easily pass over seams for top quality jumbo images.
