Soft Garment Prints

If you like custom screen printing, but you aren’t in love with the way it feels when you run your hand across the print, then you might need to rethink the type of ink you’re getting from your screen printer. To get soft garment prints you need to use the right “stuff” and here at AMBRO Manufacturing we’ve got that and so much more. One of the many services we offer here at AMBRO Manufacturing is custom water based and discharge inks and it’s one of the best ways to get soft garment prints. Lots of screen printers use plastisol inks to do screen printing because it’s tried-and-true, but the problem is that it dries tough and it’s more dense than water based ink. Water based inks are formulated differently and contain a solvent (usually water) so they dry up if you leave them out for too long, but they are thinner and penetrate deeper into the fabric. When you run your hand across a print done with water based inks, you’re primarily just feeling the fabric because the ink is “barely there”. Don’t worry about color quality though because you won’t need to sacrifice vibrancy or coverage to get that ultra soft feel.
