AMBRO manufacturing is located in New Jersey and we specialize in oversized screen printing. What is oversized screen printing? It’s screen printing that’s larger than the “typical” screen printer can print. In enables us to do things beyond just printing on t-shirts. One of the specialty areas that it enables us to provide products for is Bandana Screen Printing. Bandana printing is a unique and special segment of screen printing. Let’s discuss the nuances.
Proper bandana printing requires, that the screen printer is capable of printing at a minimum size of 20″ x 20″. Since a classic bandana is 22″ x 22″, a 20″ x 20″ print, offers the classic 1″ blank border that you see on most retail bandanas. That’s why I say that 20″ x 20″ is the minimum print size. Many bandana customers want custom fabric for their bandanas. Custom fabric is not an issue when you need hundreds or thousands of bandanas, but it becomes impractical when you only need a few dozen or a few hundred.
This is where the “minimum” aspect of the print size comes in. AMBRO Manufacturing offers a 30″ x 30″ print area. This means that on a 22″ x 22″ bandana, we can print completely off of the edge. This is often referred to as “full bleed” printing. This type of print gives the end product that custom fabric feel, because there are no blank edges.
