AMBRO CLIENT AQUA SURVEY JOINS SETI / NASA IN THE HIGH ANDES
On the shores of Laguna Negra in the Chilean Andes, a group of scientists from NASA and the SETI Institute are preparing for future missions to the lakes and seas of other planets in our solar system.
Contracted by the SETI Institute, Aqua Survey sent Eric Wartenweiler Smith to aid in the joint SETI / NASA expedition. His primary assignment was to perform a bathymetric survey of the glacial lake known as Laguna Negra. He also assisted in the testing of NASA’s prototype autonomous watercraft, the Planetary Lake Lander.
Luckily for us, Smith had the video camera rolling. And was wearing gear decorated with embroidery by AMBRO MFG! Told you we were going places!
