AMBRO Manufacturing provides Silk Screen Printing services to the trade.  With over three decades of experience, AMBRO Manufacturing has the experience and knowledge to provide each of our customers with the highest quality screen prints, sublimation prints and Jumbo Screen Printing results.

Silk Screen Printing

The process of Silk Screen Printing involves the use of hydraulics screen print presses, specialty screens, inks and knowledge.  Once artwork is created, the art is produced on a plastic film and then transferred to a silk screen using UV light.  The art is “burned” into the emulsion on the screen and then rinsed out.  Once rinsed and dried, the screens are mounted on the screen printing press and then ink is passed through the screen onto the garment.

Silk Screen Printing can be applied to any fabric and used on any fabric content.  100% cotton, 50/50, 70/30 and 90/10 blends will all accept silk screen ink without issue.  It is rumored that 100% polyester Silk Screen Printing doesn’t work.  While polyester is more challenging to silk screen, it is not impossible.  Special inks and additives may need to be added to achieve optimal results, but with experience and knowledge, amazing results can be achieved on polyester.

AMBRO Manufacturing also specializes in the niche area of all over screen printing.  This is often referred to as Jumbo Screen Printing, All Over T-Shirt Print or Oversized T-Shirt Printing.  Using specialized equipment with longer and wider print strokes, AMBRO Manufacturing can produce all over shirt prints with a similar look to sublimation printing.
